Join me for a leisurely, cloudy Sunday afternoon spent bird watching at Inchgarth Reservoir in Aberdeen.
Throughout the afternoon I did some bird photography with my Canon 90D and Sigma 150-600mm Contemporary telephoto lens and took some photos of a bullfinch, goldfinch, chaffinch, siskin, treecreeper, wigeons and a lovely little goldcrest. The goldcrest was a particular highlight despite being incredibly difficult to photograph.
The light levels weren’t great for bird photography as it was very cloudy but Inchgarth Reservoir was teeming with birds and is a good place to go for a walk.
