As much as I love wild camping in Scotland, I occasionally stay at a commercial campsite. Wild camping is not ideal for families with kids so I whenever I stay at a commercial campsite I will write a campsite review.
I will focus my campsite reviews more towards how a family with children will find each campsite and its facilities. Most campsites are usually very safe and enjoyable for families with children.
They also make for a great holiday for groups of single parents, as the parents can enjoy socialising in the evening without going far from the tents.
